Mount Pleasant, Doncaster, Wedding Photographer {Laura & Liam}

Laura and Liam tie the knot in a matter of a few weeks at the Mount Pleasant Hotel, just outside Doncaster. We decided to photograph their pre-wedding session down at the hotel, but rather than shoot within the grounds, we found a remote path, just outside the grounds of Mount Pleasant. I’ve attached a few…

What a beautiful couple, cannot wait to see the wedding photos. We were Lauras bridesmaids and had the most fantastic day, really did not want it to end. We thought you did a wonderful job with the photography Phil, too!

Phil it took me a few days to stop crying after the wedding – then I saw these photos and started all over again. What beautiful pictures – cant wait to see the rest.

Love Linda (Laura’s mum) xx

Doncaster Pre Wedding Shoot Photography { Jenny & Andrew }

Jenny & Andrew are getting married this Friday coming, at the gorgeous Hazlewood Castle, on the outskirts of Leeds. The couple live down in Northampton, and due to work commitments, we didn’t get to meet up to do their pre-wedding photography until yesterday! After the awful weather on the Saturday, we were blessed with dull…

York Wedding Photography {Clare & Peter}

The location of Clare and Peter’s pre-wedding photography session, was in the centre of York, at the Yorkshire Museum Gardens. It was a glorious Spring day. Peter was extremely anxious about being photographed in public, however as you can see from the photographs, he laughed throughout the session, and was totally chilled out! Although York…

Cute idea of having them hold the photo with them in the background. I love to see photographers with fun fresh ideas! Great shoot!

Doncaster Engagement Shoot { Jacqui & Craig }

I met up with Jacqui and Craig at historic Cusworth hall, just outside Doncaster. Jacqui in particular was very nervous about being photographed. She told me that she always looks awful in photos. I tried to put them both at ease, and we had a good laugh along the way! As we got chatting, Jacqui soon…

Doncaster Engagement & Wedding Photography { Johanna & Nigel }

I enjoy meeting couples before the big day and we always have a great time during the informal pre wedding shoots – Nigel and Johanna’s was no exception.  The photo session took place in the idyllic hamlet of Wiseton, just outside Bawtry., Doncaster  Due to thick snow and fog I had to abandon my car and having…

Wow! What a day. Thankyou for digging your way out and taking these fantastic pics. We had a great time and appologise for making you push the car out of the snow and jumping in whilst it was still moving!

Phil Shillitoe - February 13, 2010 - 3:58 pm

Hi Johanna. At least come July, we’ll be baking in a beautiful summer (fingers crossed!) instead of what feels like being in the middle of the ice Age!! We’ll reproduce the engagement shoot on the day in exactly the same location as this. I have some funky ideas which i’ll tell you about when me meet up again! Phil :-)

Paul - May 1, 2010 - 3:31 pm

Hi Phil,

Met with Nigel & Johanna this afternoon to plan their wedding service. I tried hard to put them off using you as their wedding photographer but for some strange reason they reckon you’re a really great guy! Can’t think why!

Best wishes, Paul

Phil Shillitoe - May 1, 2010 - 3:37 pm

Hahaha!!! I knew where the wedding reception was – a beautiful venue over the border in Notts. It had slipped my mind, however, that prior to this, they’d have to rough it with yourself during the ceremony in Hatfield!!! Joking aside, they’re a fantastic couple – and they are lucky enough to have the top vicar to town!!!! Phil :-)
