I recently headed down to one of my favourite locations for a pre wedding photo-shoot – Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire. Danielle & Shaun tie the knot next month in my home village of Haxey at St Nicholas Church, before heading onto Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster for their wedding reception.

Charlotte & David {Married!}

Ye Olde Bell near Retford was the beautiful location for Charlotte & David’s winter wedding reception. The reception had followed their wedding service at the picturesque St Wilfrid’s church in Cantley, on the outskirts of Doncaster.

I love photographing winter weddings, especially when there is low directional sun around and on this occasion, near gale force winds! By allowing the wind to take hold, I was able to harness the drama that such weather can introduce into photography. Despite not having the luxury that I had (thermal clothing!), neither Charlotte nor David complained once about being photographed in the arctic chill!

Lisa {& bump!}

A month or so back, Lisa popped into the studio and booked one of my bump to todder photo packages, which provides three photo shoots for the price of two over the course of a year. The first of the three sessions was a pregnancy photo shoot; Lisa’s baby is due in the next couple of weeks, so check back soon to see what tiny bundle of joy was inside her ‘bump’!

Little Loki the cat was photographed as a present for my good friend Helen before Christmas. Unfortunately he hasn’t been seen since the morning of 18th January in Westwoodside, Doncaster.

{Introducing} Baby Rory & Father Christmas

Baby Rory arrived just in the nick of time for Christmas! After plenty of early tears during his maiden photo shoot, he suddenly dropped off to sleep….and what better place for a new born to have an afternoon siesta, but in the arms of Father Christmas!

Scarlett & her loveable Labradoodle Murphy, were the stars of my recent photo shoot at Clumber Park. Scarlett took no prompting or posing- she is an absolute natural model – at just 5 years old! Throw in some late afternoon sunshine, the stunning backdrop of Clumber Park, gorgeous autumnal colours, and you get fabulous photos!

{introducing} Harry

I recently had the pleasure of photographing baby Harry & his mum at their home at RAF Waddington, just outside Lincoln. Melissa is a Sergeant within the RAF, and appropriately, the photo shoot took place on Remembrance day; just after 11am on 11/11/11. Harry was just 6 weeks old – he’s absolutely tiny! I must have the Midas touch at the moment, as he only cried for about 10 seconds during the entire shoot

Ellie & Chech {married}

The wedding of Ellie & Uchechi was a truly international affair, with guests flying in from as far away as Nigeria and the United States to celebrate the union of the newly-weds. It was a real honour and pleasure to document and photograph their wedding day.

Ellie & Chech were married at historic Christ Church in Dore, on the outskirts of Sheffield. The following wedding reception was held a couple of miles from Dore at the stunning Whirlowbrook Hall

I’ve chosen a small selection of photos from baby Eliza’s recent photo shoot. She is just sooo damn cute!!! Eliza was full of smiles & loved every minute of her maiden model shoot! She didn’t cry once, and was so chilled, that she even managed to sneak in a little baby snooze half way through the session! The session took place at my studio in Hatfield, near Doncaster. I have the best job in the world – who says don’t work with children or animals?!

Gemma & Stevie {Married}

Gorgeous sunshine from sunrise to sunset – how rare is that for a wedding! Gemma & Stevie were blessed with beautiful conditions when they recently married at Tankerlsey Manor Hotel, near Sheffield.

One of the star’s of Gemma & Stevie’s engagement photo shoot was their beautiful German Sheppard Jess. She also made a cameo appearance at the wedding; as the ring bearer no less!

Stevie helped keep the wedding guests cool by serving fresh ice cream from their very own ice cream van that they’d hired for the day!
