Annoushka & Chris {Married!}

I jumped in my car, ready to head south to the Priest House Hotel in Donington. As I turned the ignition key on my car, the temperature said -10C! Luckily, most of the snow from the previous week had vanished, otherwise, a two hour journey would have taken 6 hours, and I’d have needed a…

Really looking forward to cherish the dress session – promise I’ll try and not trash it!

The day was perfect in everyway (except the -10 temperature and murky sleet!). It seems so long ago already!! See you both soon, Phil :-)

Doncaster Family Portrait Photographer {Vicky & Andy}

I had the honour of covering Vicky and Andy’s wedding back in 2007 at Ouston Hall, Doncaster. A year later, blond haired blue eyed baby Oliver arrived and I got some great photos of the family together. Vicky recently got in touch with me, to see if i could photograph the three of them, along…

Well what can I say absolutely amazing photo’s as always phil. Didn’t think you would get any good photo’s of Oliver with the face he had on him that day!!! There are so many excellent ones don’t know which ones to choose!! We all had a great day. Will certainly be phoning you again for next time. Thanks for making time for us.

I still tell people to this day about how fabulous my wedding photo’s were and that was nearly 4 years ago!

Take care and hope to see you soon.

Linda Evans - October 23, 2010 - 4:55 pm

Phil, all I can do is echo my sisters comments! The photos are brilliant, as ever, and it was really tough to decide which to have. We can’t get the camera out without Rachel commenting on which type of smile she is using (as advised by you!)
Will continue to recommend you to everyone.
Thank you so much & hope to see you soon.

Phil Shillitoe - October 24, 2010 - 10:25 pm

It makes it easier for me when i have fun and relaxed people, so the two of you should take some of the credit for the photos!! Only 21 years til I cover your silver anniversary Vic!! Chuffed that you love the photos!!! Phil x

Doncaster Engagement & Wedding Photography { Johanna & Nigel }

I enjoy meeting couples before the big day and we always have a great time during the informal pre wedding shoots – Nigel and Johanna’s was no exception.  The photo session took place in the idyllic hamlet of Wiseton, just outside Bawtry., Doncaster  Due to thick snow and fog I had to abandon my car and having…

Wow! What a day. Thankyou for digging your way out and taking these fantastic pics. We had a great time and appologise for making you push the car out of the snow and jumping in whilst it was still moving!

Phil Shillitoe - February 13, 2010 - 3:58 pm

Hi Johanna. At least come July, we’ll be baking in a beautiful summer (fingers crossed!) instead of what feels like being in the middle of the ice Age!! We’ll reproduce the engagement shoot on the day in exactly the same location as this. I have some funky ideas which i’ll tell you about when me meet up again! Phil :-)

Paul - May 1, 2010 - 3:31 pm

Hi Phil,

Met with Nigel & Johanna this afternoon to plan their wedding service. I tried hard to put them off using you as their wedding photographer but for some strange reason they reckon you’re a really great guy! Can’t think why!

Best wishes, Paul

Phil Shillitoe - May 1, 2010 - 3:37 pm

Hahaha!!! I knew where the wedding reception was – a beautiful venue over the border in Notts. It had slipped my mind, however, that prior to this, they’d have to rough it with yourself during the ceremony in Hatfield!!! Joking aside, they’re a fantastic couple – and they are lucky enough to have the top vicar to town!!!! Phil :-)
