Marie & Brian {Married}

I recently photographed one of the most moving weddings that I have ever had the honour to capture. Marie contacted me just 3 weeks prior to her wedding to Brian to see if I was available to photograph their big day. Marie’s father, Tommy, is suffering from cancer, and her dream was for him to…

Hellaby Hall Wedding Photography {Vicky & Matt}

Hellably Hall, between Maltby and Rotherham, in South Yorkshire, was the venue for the wedding of Matt & Vicky. Vicky was convinced that it would rain throughout her wedding day…….the only time that it did rain, was during the meal time, so she needn’t have worried! Hellaby Hall is great setting for a wedding. Along…

Thanks Phil for all your beautiful pictures of our wedding day.
You have done such a fantastic job, it was great to have you there for us on the day with your professional and relaxed approach; you really made us both feel so comfortable having our pictures took— and we had a good laugh at the same time.
Cant wait to see the photo album.
Thanks again
Vicky & Matt.xxx

I cant put into words,except to say what a magical day it was and how you captured every minute of it. The only thing is I cant stop looking at them all the time, I have even forgiven you for the first shot of me in my rollers,and at least you left out the funny one of me in the wedding chariot
Hope to see you again,
SUE & Steve x x x

Hellaby Hall Wedding Photographer {Lisa & Matt}

Lisa & Matt recently tied the knot at Hatfield Church on the outskirts of Doncaster, followed by the wedding breakfast at Hellaby Hall. My good friend Paul Wilson, the vicar of Hatfield, carried out the beautiful service, before Lisa and Matt and the wedding congregation headed off to Hellably Hall. Hellaby is such a fantastic…

Thanks again mate. Amazing photos and some priceless memories captured for us – particularly my Hugh Heffner shots with the dancing girls!!! Was hoping you might have air-brushed in a bit more hair for me though.

Phil Shillitoe - October 6, 2010 - 11:24 pm

I’d have airbrushed you some more hair in Matt if I could do it to myself!!! Joking aside, it was a real pleasure – so glad that you are chuffed with the photos!!! It was hard choosing which photos to put in the blog post!! You just have to decide which to put in your album now!!

Whitley Hall Hotel Sheffield Wedding Photographer – {Helen & Steve}

It always makes my job as a wedding photographer, more rewarding when working with a bride who was as excited as Helen was when she married the love of her life, Steve! The service was held at St James church, Braithwell, just outside Rotherham, followed by the wedding reception over in Sheffield, at the beautiful…

Hi Helen, how are those Doc Martin wedging boots of yours?!! You wouldn’t think that we had had to shepard the peacock in position for one of the shots in the blog post would you!! I see on Face-book that you love the album design Helen (and my new profile pic lol!!) – it is being made by hand in Italy as I speak (well, maybe not at 10:30 at night!) and be here asap!! Phil x
